This is an exciting opportunity to join our expanding Mental Health Support Team (MHST) service across Hampshire at a time of continued growth and development. We are seeking an enthusiastic, experienced, and motivated professional to provide operational, clinical, and professional leadership to one of our MHSTs.
As an MHST Team Lead, you will play a pivotal role in leading a multidisciplinary team of Education Mental Health Practitioners (EMHPs), Children's Wellbeing Practitioners (CWPs) and Senior Wellbeing Practitioners. You will be responsible for overseeing the delivery of high quality, evidence-based mental health interventions, ensuring safe and effective practice, and promoting positive outcomes for young people, families, and education settings.
You will provide day-to-day leadership, line management, and clinical oversight to team members, supporting their professional development, wellbeing, and performance. You will work collaboratively with schools, partner agencies, and stakeholders to ensure the effective implementation of the MHST model and Whole School Approach.
Main duties of the job
The role will involve:
*Providing leadership and operational management within the MHST.
*Supporting and developing the EMHP, CWP, and wider practitioner workforce.
*Delivering and overseeing evidence-based interventions for children and young people presenting with mild to moderate mental health difficulties.
*Providing clinical guidance, consultation, and risk management support to staff.
