Who we are
Mental Health Jobs is a job board. The people who run it decide what happens to the personal data you give it, which makes them responsible for it (the "controller"). You can reach them through the contact details on this board.
Mental Health Jobs runs on Jobvito, which stores and handles the data for us, only on our instructions and under a written agreement.
What we collect
- When you apply for a job: your name, email address, anything you write, and your CV if you add one.
- When you sign up for job alerts: your email address, and a record of what you agreed to and when.
- If you post jobs: your account, your company's details and a record of what you paid for.
- When you visit: counts of the pages viewed each day, with nothing that identifies you. We use a cookie only to keep you signed in, and a check from Cloudflare that you are not a bot on forms.
Why we use it
- To pass your application to the employer you apply to.
- To send the job alerts you asked for, until you unsubscribe.
- To run employer accounts and take payment for listings.
Where the law asks us for a reason: alerts and the listing for employers rest on your consent, which you can withdraw at any time; applications and accounts are what you asked us to do; payment records are kept because the law requires them.
Who sees it
The employer you apply to sees your application, and uses it under their own responsibility. We see what you give the board. Nobody else does, except the services that keep the board running:
- Anthropic: Reading employer careers pages a board owner asks the platform to import, categorising the resulting job adverts, and drafting the owner's own suggestions and briefings (Global (no EU pin is offered for this API))
- Resend: Email delivery (EU)
- Stripe: Payments (EU and UK)
- Supabase: Database, authentication and file storage (UK (London, eu-west-2))
- Cloudflare Turnstile: Bot protection on public forms (EU)
- Vercel: Application hosting (UK (London, lhr1))
None of them may use your data for their own purposes. The language model some of them provide reads job adverts, never your personal data.

Everything this board holds is stored in London, in the United Kingdom. Some of the services above work in other places, as their entries say.

Your rights
You can see what we hold on you, download it, correct it or have it deleted at any time from the Your data page, and every alert email has a link to stop them. You can withdraw any consent you gave, and object to how we use your data. If you are unhappy with how we have handled it, tell us first; you can also complain to the data protection regulator where you live. In the UK that is the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).
Changes
If what we do with your data changes, we will change this notice before we do.
