You will support patients to improve their mental health and wellbeing while living with these conditions.

Alongside your work with patients and their families, you will support staff through training, consultation and supervision.

Main duties of the job

The Clinical Health Psychology Service is a team of psychologists who help people adapt to and develop creative ways of living well alongside physical health problems. We provide psychological input to General Medicine services across Dudley and Wolverhampton. You will join a wider team of psychologists working across services for people with long-term health conditions, with robust supervision and support provided.

About us

Psychological professionals form a large professional group within BCHFT, giving you access to wider support, learning and development opportunities beyond the Clinical Health Psychology team.

This post will be based at Cross Street Health Centre. The successful applicant may also be required to support other parts of the General Medicine Service according to service need. Full clinical and operational support will be provided.
