This full-time training will begin in January 2027 with around 2.5 days a week for academic work (teaching and personal study), and 2.5 days based at the service seeing clients related to training assignments. Trainees will be both an employee of the service and an enrolled student with King's College London. Upon completion, qualified trainees will receive a KCL Postgraduate Diploma.

Job Summary

The Camden Community CAMHS Teams (South) have an exciting opportunity for a CYP Psychological Training - Systemic (conduct) Trainees to join their teams as part of the NHS England (NHSE) funded Children and Young People (CYP) Psychological Training Programmes (formerly CYP-IAPT).

The Camden Community CAMHS Teams work with children and families from 0-18 years and work with moderate + emotional wellbeing needs, the teams have a strong MDT approach with clinical staff from a variety of disciplines to include: child psychotherapy, psychiatry, psychology, nursing, social work and systemic psychotherapy and offering evidence-based talking therapies. The teams works closely with Camden CAMHS services and partner agencies within the Units, and with Camden primaries and secondary schools.

This is a unique opportunity to apply your learning from weekly teaching held at King's College London into practical clinical interventions working with clients in the service making a direct impact in the lives of children, young people and their families.

In order to meet the needs of the Trust you may be required from time to time to work at different locations to your normal place of work. This may mean that you are required to work at any location that fall under Barnet, Camden, Enfield, Haringey or Islington.
