196 jobs open on Mental Health Jobs.
Mental health nurses are the backbone of UK mental health services, and demand for them is rising. The NHS Long Term Workforce Plan commits to increasing mental health nursing training places by 38% by 2028/29, so experienced RMNs remain among the most sought-after clinicians in the country.
Here you'll find registered mental health nurse (RMN) jobs across acute inpatient wards, psychiatric intensive care (PICU), community mental health teams, crisis and home treatment, liaison psychiatry, forensic and secure services, eating disorder units, perinatal teams and CAMHS. Employers include NHS mental health trusts, independent hospital providers and charities.
What you need: registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC) on the mental health part of the register. Nursing associates (also NMC-registered) will find Band 4 roles here too.
Typical pay: newly qualified RMNs usually start at Band 5 (£32,073 to £39,043). Community and senior roles are commonly Band 6 (£39,959 to £48,117), and team leaders, advanced practitioners and ward managers Band 7 and above. London roles attract a High Cost Area Supplement. Independent providers set their own rates, so check each advert.
Filter by setting, band, contract (including bank) and location to find the right next step.
Pay last updated: April 2026 (NHS Agenda for Change, England).
